BABY HAS BEEN FOUND!

On November 3, my mother-in-law, Ada, took her beloved cat, Baby, to the veterinarian in the next town over.  Baby was in a pet carrier.  As she was getting the car, some how Baby got out of the carrier and ran across Main Street.  That was the last time she saw him.

I live in Virginia and Ada lives North of Dayton in Ohio.  My mother-in-law was so upset. I felt helpless being so far away.  I called Claudia first thing the next morning, 6 a.m. morning meeting is not unusual for Claudia & I.  We developed a marketing strategy to find Baby that included flyers, blogging,  Facebook marketing and reaching out to our local Keller Williams Realty office near Ada in Dayton, Ohio.

In my initial blog, I thanked MCA, Renee Thuma, with Keller Williams Home Town Realty in North Dayton for printing the flyers and taking them to my mother-in-law BEFORE HER OFFICE EVEN OPENED!  Ada called me later that day and told me she saw Renee hanging up flyers in New Carlisle, Ohio where Baby went missing.

Claudia S. Nelson, a true animal lover (click here to see my birthday article on Claudia being a foster mom to animals), paid for Facebook advertising to try and get leads on Baby.   Not just the first week Baby went missing, SINCE Baby’s been missing! Over the past 2 1/2 weeks, I have not had a conversation with Claudia where she didn’t ask about my mother-in-law or Baby. Can you imagine your boss your paying to advertise on the internet for your mother-in-law’s missing cat in another State?  I am truly blessed!

When I got the call last night from the gentleman BABY HAS BEEN FOUND, I was so excited, I didn’t ask him how he got my number.  It had to be a flyer put up by MCA, Renee Thuma or from a Facebook advertisement created by Claudia S. Nelson.  I do know this, Baby is home tonight because of my Keller Williams Realty Family!

God Bless A Happy Ending!

I plead for the communities help in the New Carlisle, Ohio area in helping find our family missing cat.  I live on the East Coast but my Mother-in-law, also known as my best friend, lives in Medway, Ohio.  Yesterday, November 3 2015, she took her beloved cat, Baby, to the Bethel Animal Clinic at 301 South Main Street, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.  After the office visit, her and a friend set the carrier down to get in the car and “Baby” got out of the carrier and took off across Main Street.  “Baby” our missing cat has not been seen since.

Neutered, Male

Actually has soft brown eyes but always looks right in the camera

Has very soft, fluffy hair

Chest is very white compared to his front paws that looks like he is wearing brown camouflage waders

He is country boy, so I have no doubt he is a survivor and is trying to make his way back home.  From Bethel Animal Clinic to his home is about 6 miles.  Please be on the look-out for Baby, the missing cat from Bethel Animal Clinic in New Carlisle, Ohio.

When You Belong To Keller Williams You Have a Family Everywhere!!

My mother-in-law doesn’t do technology.  I was trying to figure out the fastest way to get her the flyers I made.

November 4, 2015

7:37 a.m.  Messaged fellow Keller Williams Agent near New Carlisle where our cat went missing, Realtor Richard Herbst of Keller Williams Home Town Realty in Vandalia.  I told Mr. Herbst the sad story of our missing cat and how I was trying to get flyers to my mother-in-law.

7:39 a.m.  Realtor, Richard Herbst replied asking me to email him the flyer.

8:39 a.m. Renee Thuma, MCA with Keller Williams Home Town Realty of Vandalia called me asking for my Mother-in-law’s address.  She had printed out several flyers and was going to personally deliver them to her and then pass some out herself!

9:10 a.m.  My mother-in-law called me that the sweetest lady, Renee Thuma, just brought her flyers to help find Baby.  Renee even hugged and consoled my mother-in-law during this very rough time.

Just to put this into prospective, Keller Williams Home Town Realty officially opens at 8:30 a.m.  That means, Realtor Richard Herbst was replying to my personal problems and helping a fellow Keller Williams agent an hour before the office even opened.  Their MCA, Renee Thuma, had to have had a discussion and printed the flyers before the office even opened to call me at 8:39!  I love being part of the Keller Williams Real Estate family.  I literally have a support system people all over the World.  I feel so blessed.  I am over 500 miles away but I am able to make a difference thanks to my caring, quick moving Real Estate Family.  THANK YOU SO MUCH, RICHARD HERBST & RENEE THUMA!

If you’re familiar with the Culture of Keller Williams Realty, this story will not be that surprising.  Keller Williams agents are always helping other agents across country.  Some they have never met and some they have only met a couple times.  Keller Williams really is a different kind of Real Estate Company and I truly believe this is why we continue to grow.  Good people want to be part of a good company, that’s us, Keller Williams Realty, Inc.
