The other day I was coming back from having Sushi with my hubby in Stafford and snapped some pictures of the I 95 Express Lanes construction. Construction is moving forward quickly. Every time I drive I95 along the Express Lanes construction I see change and I can see the fast progress they are making.

What can you expect once construction is finished? Per http://www.95expresslanes.com

• Build a nine-mile extension of existing HOV lanes from Dumfries to Garrisonville Road in Stafford County to alleviate the worst bottleneck in the region
• Expand existing HOV lanes from two to three lanes for 14 miles between Prince William Parkway to vicinity of Edsall Road on I-395
• Improve the existing two HOV lanes for six miles from Route 234 to the Prince William Parkway
• Create a seamless connection to the 495 Express Lanes and into Tysons Corner
• Add new or improved access to and from the Express Lanes at key interchanges including Garrisonville Road, Joplin Road, Prince William County Parkway, Fairfax County Parkway, Franconia-Springfield Parkway, I-495 and the vicinity of Edsall Road
• Provide a new choice to pay a toll for a faster trip when you need to get to your destination on time
